My Favorite Travel-Related Websites

www.seat61.com
Ever wondered how to get from London to Singapore overland?  Amazingly it’s possible!  This site is a great travel resource for everything about train travel.

www.imaginative-traveller.com
Want to travel to far off places?  But, not too keen on going alone?  Try a tour.  I used Imaginative for my trip to India and had a great time.  I even won a tour of Thailand when a photo I took in India won a photo competition they sponsored.  They also have tours geared towards families.  Most of their tours are budget friendly as well.  Amy and I have booked with them for Egypt.

www.airtreks.com
I used Airtreks to book my round the world ticket (well, almost around the world).  They have a neat web program that allows to pick your destinations on a map, see what stopovers are available as well as give you a rough estimate of the costs.  Always go by the higher quote when estimating a budget.
